Insurance Coverage

Understanding Your Insurance Benefits for Counselling and Therapy.

Services:

We’re here to support you in navigating the details of your insurance coverage for counselling and therapy. While we strive to provide clarity, it’s important to remember that understanding the specifics of your plan and the benefits it offers is ultimately your responsibility (or that of a parent/guardian, if applicable).

Payment and Billing:

If your insurance plan allows for direct billing, any deductible or portion not covered by insurance will be due immediately following your session.

In cases where direct billing isn’t available, the full session fee is required at the time of your appointment.

Your Role in the Process:

To ensure a smooth experience, please verify with your insurance provider that your plan covers the services provided by your registered Social Worker or Psychotherapist (qualifying or qualified). It’s essential to confirm whether your plan allows for direct billing, even if the company is listed as eligible.

A Few Important Notes:

Insurance typically doesn’t cover fees associated with late cancellations. These charges will be your responsibility, so please keep this in mind when scheduling and managing your appointments.

For any questions or to discuss payment policies, please don’t hesitate to speak with your therapist or our Practice Coordinator. We’re here to help and make this process as seamless as possible for you.

Thank you for taking the time to understand your insurance benefits and working with us to ensure a positive and productive therapeutic experience.
